Ss. Cyril & Methodius church festival
Church Festival at Ss. Cyril & Methodius, 1325 2nd St. NE, Saturday, Aug. 19, 9 am-9 pm. Ecuadorian food, fun and games including soccer and volleyball tournaments, kids' games, beer wagon, ice cream, and much more. Raffle with $1,400 in prize money; drawing at 5 pm.

Artist Chris Rackley is a self-proclaimed "mall brat." On days when not in school, Rackley spent his time at the mall sketching, reading, and exploring. In an exhibit at Kohlman & Reeb, Rackley uses drawings, sculptures and an interactive video to explore his memories of a shopping mall in Duluth, Ga.
