School Supplies Swap-it
Hennepin County will hold a school supply Swap-it at Northeast Library, 2200 Central Ave. NE, Saturday, Aug. 1-Thursday, Aug. 13. Drop off or take home new or gently used school supplies, from 3-ring binders to backpacks. Look for a collection container or ask a librarian where to bring your donation. Father Hennepin Bluff Park, 420 Main St. SE, will be the scene of the Minnesota Food Truck Festival Saturday, Aug. 1, 11 am-9 pm. More than 40 food trucks will be on hand for this free event, where every free wristband provides three meals for those in need via Feed My Starving Children. Music will be provided by Whiskey Stone, Tyte Phitt and Alex Rossi. Kid and canine-friendly.

The Gray Mallard Theater Company will present Hamlet at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE. Hamlet will play July 16-Aug. 2, starting at 7 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and 6:30 pm on Sundays. Performances are two and half hours with one intermission and are free for all.
