Spark-Y: “The Art of Youth Empowerment”
Visit Spark-Y during Art-A-Whirl and explore the intersections of art, sustainability and entrepreneurship with an open house - and spring plant sale - featuring youth made art. Purchase hanging floral baskets and Victory Garden kits - variety seed packets that include tomato, cucumber, marigold, cilantro, spring onion and jalapeno - to support Spark-Y’s many activities, $40 each. "Of the Earth: Climate Change, a Future with Hope" returns to Studio 332, Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St NE, during Art-A-Whirl, May 17-19. Whisker Rescue will hold an adoption event where passersby can meet and interact with up to a half-dozen cats and kittens ready for new homes.
