Free Pocket Pet nail trims
MN Pocket Pet Rescue will be holding a Pocket Pet Nail Trim Clinic for pocket pets including: Degus, Ferrets, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Hedgehogs, Mice, Rabbits, Rats, and Sugar Gliders (no cats, dogs, reptiles, or birds), Saturday, March 21, noon-3 pm, at Chuck & Don’s Pet Food Outlet.

Band rehearsals are suspended until further notice. The Northeast Community Band will present March!, a concert consisting solely of marches, on Thursday, March 26, at Northeast United Methodist Church on the corner of Lowry Avenue and Cleveland Street NE. Join park ranger Sharon Stiteler (aka Birdchick) to welcome back the great blue herons near Marshall Terrace Park, 2740 Marshall Street NE, on Saturday, March 28, 1-3 p.m. Use binoculars and a spotting scope to watch them rebuild nests and do a little flirting. Alexandra House's annual Hope Gala typically raises a significant amount of funds (the goal was to raise $165,000) which support the organization in the first half of the year. These funds are so critical for the organization to provide direct services to domestic and sexual violence survivors. BUT victim/survivors need our community – now more than ever – to ensure Alexandra House has the financial resources to care for them at the worst moment in their lives.
