1850s Holiday Party
The public is invited to an 1850s Holiday Party at the historic Ard Godfrey House, 28 University Ave. SE on Sunday, Dec. 5, 12-3 pm. Visit the oldest remaining wood frame residence in Minneapolis, built in 1849. The house is decorated for the holidays in the modest style of the era. Midwest Polka Association dance
The Midwest Polka Association (MPA) invites the community to enjoy an evening of polkas, waltzes and obereks at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill Street NE, Columbia Heights, on Friday, March 4, 7-11 pm. The Polka Family Band, a popular band from Pennsylvania, will play for the dance. This band has not played in Minnesota for a long time, so don't miss this opportunity to enjoy dancing and listening to their music. Bar service is available. Admission is $15 per person. “Into the Studio: A Runway Presentation and Conversation”
Strey Collective, Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St. NE #179, will host the Fashion Week Minnesota event, "Into the Studio," on Wednesday, April 27, 4-7 pm. 13th Minnesota Cuban Film Festival
