DESCRIPTION:Mold and pour metal during Open Casket\, Friday\, Nov. 4-Saturday\, Nov. 5.\n\nMetal Pour Workshop: Friday\, Nov. 4\, 6-10 pm\, Casket Arts Factory + Sculpture Quad. Learn how to carve imagery\, designs\, words into a sand mold of a casket form. Choose from imagery and ideas here or create your own (molds are 4″x11″ approx). Then\, learn how to pour aluminum from a crucible furnace into the mold\, file/grind/polish your casting and colored inks are optional. Ages 9 + up. 8 participant limit. $40 per mold. Get on the bus and choose a mold or two – butterfly\, teeth\, chrysalis\, sea monkey – to create your small sculpture\, necklace\, pin\, pendant\, bolo tie\, etc. Lead-free pewter into small silicone molds.
