DESCRIPTION:Responding to the Russian invasion of Ukraine\, Piotr Szyhalski began drawing Labor Camp Reports once again. Much like the COVID-19: Labor Camp Report series from 2020\, this new and ongoing body of work serves as a way of witnessing and recording the experience of “extreme historical phenomenon” unfolding in real time. Although addressing specific conflicts\, many of the War Reports operate on a more universal level condemning war and militarism while drawing our attention to the plight of civilians and refugees. Opening reception\, Friday\, Oct. 4\, 6-9 pm\, NE Sculpture|Gallery Factory\, 1720 Madison St. NE\, #14. Show runs through Sunday\, Nov. 10. Regular Gallery Hours: Thursdays\, Fridays and Saturdays 12-5 pm or by appointment.  \n\n
