DESCRIPTION:The Ukrainian American Community Center\, 301 Main St. NE\, will hold a Ukrainian Cuisine series of cooking classes this spring. Learn about Easter breads\, accompaniments\, and spring desserts in these small hands-on classes. \nThe first class\, Saturday\, Feb. 23\, 10 am-noon\, will focus on Ukrainian Easter breads including paska\, a large\, rich\, slightly sweet eggy bread with beautiful braids and symbolic designs on top\, and babka\, a tall\, cylindrical sweet bread often studded with dried fruits.
