DESCRIPTION:There will be an opening reception for “Two Friends\, One Show\,” featuring Bonnie Dean and Andrew Braunberger\, Sunday\, Aug. 7\, 5-8 p.m.\, at 1500 Hennepin Ave. E. (enter the gallery through Chin Dian Café.) The “Not Your Usual Art Show Opening\,” will be a world premiere of music and song\, written by Bonnie Dean\, specifically for collaborative works by both artists. Mutual themes\, separately explored\, are “Under the Banyan tree\,” “Dandelions\,” and “Dragon-y.” \n“Wind ‘n the Bow\,” a recorder and violin ensemble that specializes in Baroque\, Renaissance and Celtic music\, will provide background music. Four vocalists will join for song performances at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. There will be complimentary hors d’oevres and a cash bar\, featuring sangria.
