SUMMARY:Three-Season Porch Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Monica Sheets as she conducts a walking tour of three-season porches in Northeast. This tour will start and end at the front door of the Casket Arts Building\, 681 17th Ave. NE\,  Saturday\, Sept. 18\, 2:20 pm. The walk will last approximately one hour and cover one mile at a leisurely pace. The tour will visit various examples and discuss physical\, mental and cultural responses\, using the porch as a jumping off point to consider social relations writ large. Sheets’ tour is based on her short essay and guidebook\, Three Seasons\, published this year by Birchwood Palace Industries. The book will be available for purchase at the tour for $12\, or can be purchased online at www.birchwoodpalace.com. \n
