DESCRIPTION:As part of NEXT\, an annual new works series\, Theater Latté Da\, presents “The Urban Farmer’s Almanac\,” Thursday\, May 12\, at 7:30 p.m.\, Saturday\, May 14\, at 7:30 p.m.\, and Sunday\, May 15\, at 2 p.m.\, at the Ritz Theater\, 345 13th Ave NE. In its first trial run\, the show is a live-performance written-for-radio variety show about raising food and living close to the ground in the city. \nAlso part of the NEXT series\, “The Illyria Project\,” will be Thursday\, May 19\, Saturday\, May 21\, and Monday\, May 23\, at 7:30 p.m.\, at the Capri Theater\, 2027 Broadway Ave. W. The performance is the story of Viola\, a barista and aspiring rapper who seizes the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a star when she finds out about an audition for a new hip hop show. \nTickets for the performances are $13.
