DESCRIPTION:Theatre Pro Rata is producing a new play by local playwright Rachel Teagle: “The Ever and After\,” through Sunday\, Dec. 22\, at The Crane Theater\, 2302 Kennedy St. NE. \nSet in a post-apocalyptic world\, the play follows the adventures of a super intelligent cockroach and his young human ward as they sift through the remnants of a lost civilization trying to gather knowledge. Along the way they unearth an abandoned bot who raises questions about consciousness\, autonomy\, and friendship. \nPerformances are Fridays\, Saturdays\, and Sundays at 7:30 pm. There will be an ASL/AD performance\, Sunday\, Dec 8\, at 7:30 pm\, and a pay-what-you-can performance\, Monday\, Dec. 9\, at 7:30 pm.
