Fix-It Hub: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 4-7 pm. Work with a friendly, skilled volunteer to try to fix your broken household items, gain confidence and new repair skills and incorporate sustainability into your life. This event is family friendly. Cosponsored with Hennepin County Environment and Energy
Medicare Counseling: Tuesday, Sept. 15, 12:30-4 pm. Get free help answering your Medicare questions with Senior LinkAge Line. Registration is required and can be done at https://trellisconnects.org/get-help/medicare. Choose to make an in-person appointment, select St. Anthony Library and a date/time (time slots are 12:30, 1:45 or 3 pm). Or call Senior LinkAge Line at 800-333-2433. Registration closes four days before the date.
LegoLab: Tuesday, Sept. 15, 4:30-6:30 pm. The library has the bricks, you bring your imagination. No experience necessary. DUPLOS® also available, so all ages are welcome. No registration is required; space is limited.
Baile latino para niños / Latin Dance for Kids: Wednesday, Sept 16, 11-11:45 am. Children and their caregivers will bond by engaging in Latin dances such as salsa, bachata and merengue. This dance program encourages movement and self-expression, and creates core memories for families. The program is intended for families with children between the ages of 2-6 (siblings welcome). The class will be taught in Spanish and English. Collaborator: Nela Dance. Funded by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
History Discussion: Ukraine: Wednesday, Sept. 16, 3:30-4:30 pm. Join neighbors and friends to discuss Ukraine. We will discuss its history, relationship with Russia and present conflict. Advance reading materials available at the library.
