SUMMARY:St. Anthony Community Theater virtual performance
DESCRIPTION:Saint Anthony Community Theater (SACT) is moving forward with plans for a virtual performance this summer and seeks interested participants for workshops and recorded performances based on the theme “What is Your Superpower?” \nThe project will be conducted virtually by local performing artists over a five-week period beginning June 15. Artistic elements may include spoken word\, music\, and dance; all led by arts professionals. \nParticipants can learn about Augusto Boal and his acting methods\, using what they learn to create their own performance. They can attend as many or as few virtual workshops as they wish. Each component will be taught via video content and online practices during weekly virtual rehearsals and will culminate in a world-premiere final project to be shared publicly this summer. \nPeople of all ages eight and up are encouraged to participate.
