DESCRIPTION:Visit Spark-Y during Art-A-Whirl and explore the intersections of art\, sustainability and entrepreneurship with an open house – and spring plant sale – featuring youth made art. Purchase hanging floral baskets and Victory Garden kits – variety seed packets that include tomato\, cucumber\, marigold\, cilantro\, spring onion and jalapeno – to support Spark–Y’s many activities\, $40 each. Tour the  Urban Agriculture Lab\, home to a two-ton timber-frame microgreen system\, designed and built as an internship project in 2018 in partnership with Casket Arts neighbor and resident timber-frame expert\, Clark Bremer. Discover how Spark–Y integrates design thinking into its sustainable projects\, such as planter benches\, compost bins and water cisterns in the sculpture garden of Casket Arts.
