SUMMARY:Scents to Scenes
DESCRIPTION:Kolman & Reeb Gallery announced its next Project Space grantee exhibition\, “Scents to Scenes\,” showcasing landscape paintings by plein air artist Cheryl LeClair-Sommer. LeClair-Sommer used fragrance as a catalyst to search for locations that embodied the properties of those scents. The characteristics of each perfume inspired the mood and helped predict the color palette of the work. Gallery patrons will have the opportunity to sample the scents associated with each painting  February 10-March 23. Artist reception\, Saturday\, Feb. 17\, 7-9 pm; artist talk\, Thursday\, March 7 at 7 pm.  Kolman & Reeb Gallery\, Studio 395\, Northrup King Building\, 1500 Jackson St. NE.\n\n
