SUMMARY:Salo Park Summer concert series
DESCRIPTION:All events will be at Salo Park\, on 39th Ave. NE between Silver Lake Road and Stinson Blvd. \nVinnie Rose\, an acoustic guitarist and vocalist who covers a wide variety of musical styles\, will perform a free concert on Thursday\, July 10  7-8 pm. In addition to his own compositions\, Vinnie is fluent in the musical stylings of some of the greats. \nSax player Rose Duffy\, backed by harmonica ace Paul Barry and his Blues Band\, will play a danceable mix of Chicago and West Coast Jump Blues on Thursday\, July 17\, 7-8 pm. \nThe Double Down Daredevils\, a bluegrass/Americana band featuring 3- and 4-part harmonies\, will perform on Thursday\, July 24\, 7-8 pm. \nThe Backyard Band specializes in fun\, danceable rock ‘n roll and country music drawing on decades of experience playing in rock bands\, folk groups\, jazz combos and bar ensembles. See them on Thursday\, July 31\, 7-8 pm. \nEcuador Manta\, an Andean band with a unique music style using the traditional rhythms from Ecuador\, Peru\, Bolivia and Columbia and combining them with more contemporary Latin and Caribbean rhythms\, will perform on Thursday\, Aug. 7\, 7-8 pm. \nThe Fabulous Fairlanes\, a popular acapella doo-wop quartet that sings familiar music from the ’40s\, ’50s and ’60s will entertain on Thursday\, Aug. 14\, 7-8 pm. \n  \n
