DESCRIPTION:There will be an Art Circle for “Putting Down Roots\,” an evolving exhibit of artistic fiber representation of plants that are beneficial for a healthy environment\, Friday\, June 17\, 10 a.m.-noon\, at the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization\, 2522 Marshall St. NE. Participating artists can use their talents to help bring awareness about keeping the Mississippi River clean. Organizers are looking for works made from any fiber and constructed using any technique. Ideally works will be life-sized and three-dimensional.
