Polish Constitution Day Concert

A special concert celebrating Polish Constitution Day will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, on Saturday, May 2, 7 pm. Presented on the eve of the historic Constitution of May 3, 1791, the program will feature the Holy Cross Choir and a chamber orchestra performing sacred music by Polish composers spanning more than four centuries. The concert explores Poland’s rich choral tradition from the early Baroque period to the modern era, with several works rarely heard in the United States. Free.
