California Building open for Art-A-Whirl® 2024
The California Building, 2205 California St. NE, will be open during Art-A-Whirl® 2024, May 17-19. Hours are Friday, May 17, 5-10 pm; Saturday, May 18, 12-8 pm; and Sunday, May 19, 12-5 pm. Throughout the building, artists will host family-friendly demos and classes in areas such as ceramics, jewelry, painting, woodworking, and more! The St. Clement campus (901 24th Ave NE) of Holy Cross will host more than a dozen artists showcasing paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodworking and more during Art-A-Whirl. There will be a Polish Happy Hour on Friday night. All weekend there will be food, drink, music, and church tours. A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 Main Street SE, will be open during Art-A-Whirl 2024, May 17–19. Hours are Friday, May 17, 5-10 pm; Saturday, May 18, 10-8 pm; and Sunday, May 19, 10-5 pm. Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend-long event that gives the public a chance to explore the buildings that tell the city’s story, Saturday and Sunday May 18-19.
