DESCRIPTION:The Northeast version of Open Streets will be Sunday\, August 5. The route will run along Central Avenue from north of Lowry to 18-1/2 Avenue NE\, from Central along 22nd Avenue NE to Monroe Street\, and Monroe Street to East Hennepin. Hours are 11 am to 5 pm. To volunteer (which could include additional hours for set-up and cleanup)\, to get a spot to promote your business along the route or to sponsor the event\, visit https://www.openstreetsmpls.org/northeast. \nOpen Streets closes the streets to motor vehicle traffic in order for pedestrians\, people on bikes and other non-motorized transportation\, to enjoy activities. Motor vehicles will be able to cross the route at some intersections. \n
