DESCRIPTION:Casket Arts\, 681 17th Ave. NE\, will hold Open Casket\, its premier open studio event of the year\, Friday\, Nov. 2\, 5-10 pm\, Saturday\, Nov. 3\, noon-8 pm\, and Sunday\, Nov. 4\, noon-5 pm. \nThe free\, family-friendly event will include art\, music\, food\, and drink\, as more than 50 tenant artists open their studios to show and sell their work\, including paintings\, prints\, jewelry\, sculpture\, textiles\, ceramics\, photography\, woodworking\, furniture\, and more. \nThere will be live music on the 4th floor\, food trucks\, and guest artists lining the hallways. Vikre Distillery will serve cocktails at their speakeasy in the basement\, benefitting arts nonprofit COMPAS. Foxy Falafel will be parked outside serving treats Friday and Sunday. \nLive music Friday includes The Beavers\, at 6 pm\, The Old Fashioneds\, at 7:30 pm\, and Doug Otto & the Getaways\, at 9 pm. Saturday performers include Katey Bellville & Zach Gusa\, at 1 pm\, Damian Anderson\, at 2 pm\, The Mighty Ridgebacks\, at 3:30 pm\, Joan Hutton & Joan Griffith\, at 5 pm\, and August McKinney\, at 6:30 pm.
