SUMMARY:“One-Act Play Festival” and other Art-A-Whirl events at Edison
DESCRIPTION:Thomas Edison’s Theater will perform a “One-Act Play Festival\,” a showcase of short plays\, Thursday through Sunday\, May 19-21\, at 7 p.m.\, at Edison High School\, 700 22nd Ave. NE\, in the auditorium. There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday\, May 21\, at 3:30 p.m.\, in the outdoor amphitheater\, during Art-A-Whirl. Tickets cost $5 for each performance and will be available at the door. \nAlso\, to celebrate Art-A-Whirl\, there will be musical performances in the amphitheater throughout the day on Saturday\, and a visual art gallery\, Friday\, May 20\, 3-8 p.m.\, and Saturday\, May 21\, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.\, in the school’s Auto Shop\, along the Quincy Avenue side of Edison\, which has been converted into gallery space for the weekend. \n
