SUMMARY:Mt. Carmel 90th Anniversary events
DESCRIPTION:Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church\, 1701 St. Anthony Parkway\, will conclude celebration and recognition of their fall 90th Anniversary with final events scheduled for Sunday\, Oct. 30\, Reformation Sunday. There will be a 9:30 a.m. celebratory worship service\, followed by refreshments and a special intergenerational forum to start the day. \nAt 12:30 p.m. there will be an opportunity to celebrate the history of Mt. Carmel with a luncheon and program at Jax Cafe\, featuring Pastor Rod Anderson as keynote speaker. Pastor Anderson served his first call at Mt. Carmel as associate pastor from 1974-1977\, before he began a new mission congregation St. Andrew in Eden Prairie. \nTickets for the luncheon are $25 and are on sale through Oct. 23.
