SUMMARY:MPD 2-PAC: Different meeting day
DESCRIPTION:2-PAC\, the MPD Second Precinct Advisory Council has a long history of meeting on the second Monday of the month. With this schedule\, they conflict with two days a year that city offices are officially closed: Native American Day and Veterans’ Day\, which are often observed by closing city offices on the second Mondays of October and November.  Because of that conflict\, 2-PAC misses the input from city employees two months of the year. To avoid that\, 2-PAC will be meeting on the third Monday of the month beginning in October. The speaker for October is now scheduled to join them on the third Monday\, Oct. 15. If there are any issues\, let them know. 2-PAC continues to meet at 1900 Central Ave. NE\, in the Monroe Village Community Room\, gathering at 6 pm\, with a call to order at 6:15 pm.\n
