DESCRIPTION:Art to Change the World will unveil “Mississippi Pearl\,” a collaborative artwork made of things found in and along the Mississippi River. The event will occur at Homewood Studios\, 2400 Plymouth Avenue North\, Minneapolis\, Friday\, Nov. 11\, 5-8 pm. The creation of Pearl was funded by a Mississippi Water Management Organization Stewardship Fund Program grant and directed by artist Barbara Bridges\, who guided a scientist\, journalist\, mayor\, teachers\, and artists to complete the work. \n
