DESCRIPTION:The Minnesota Sinfonia under the direction of Jay Fishman will present a free concert Saturday\, April 22\, 2 pm\, at Holy Cross Catholic Church\, 1621 University Ave. NE. The concert will feature Gao Hong\, who will perform Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” with improvised variations on the Chinese pipa\, a stringed instrument. Also on the program is Beethoven’s Second Symphony and a work by South American composer José Nuñez Garcia. Families with children are encouraged to attend. \n
