DESCRIPTION:The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is now hiring baseball and softball umpires\, for $35-$65 per game. This year a new program offers umpiring gear to rent for $10 for the season. The season starts May 15 and runs through the end of July. Hours are–dependent on availability–weeknights and Saturdays during the day. \nQualifications: at least 16 years old\, pass a criminal background check\, complete CDC Concussion Awareness Training\, ability to interact well with adults and children\, ability to understand and apply rules.
