DESCRIPTION:Memorial Blood Centers will have blood drives Friday\, Dec. 20\, 8:30-11:30 am\, at Cunningham Group\, 201 Main St. SE\, and Thursday\, Dec. 26\, 11 am-6 pm\, at Surly Brewing Co.\, 520 Malcolm Ave. SE. Donors in December will be automatically entered to win a vacation experience for two. Choose between a San Diego La Costa Resort & Spa\, Las Vegas showstopper\, Boston Brewery Tour\, or the Ultimate Pro Sports Fan Getaway. Learn more at mbc.org/travel. \nBlood donors of all types\, especially O\, are urgently needed to step up to ensure blood is readily available for local hospitals. Donors should be in good health\, free of antibiotics for 24 hours (unless taken for preventative reasons)\, symptom-free for at least 72 hours following a cold or flu\, and 17 years old or older (16 with written parental consent).
