DESCRIPTION:Columbia Heights Police and Columbia Heights Parks and Recreation have planned activities for kids who will be out of school during the MEA convention. \nCHPD Teen Academy:  Thursday\, Oct. 15 and Friday\, Oct. 16\, 9 am-4 pm. A two-day immersive experience for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about law enforcement. Breakfast and lunch provided. Free. Register by Oct. 12: chohi.mn/teenacademy. \nHorseback riding and Fall Fun: Thursday\, Oct. 15\, 9:30 am-5 pm\, Murzyn Hall\, 530 Mill St NE.
