DESCRIPTION:North Mississippi Regional Park\, 4900 Mississippi Court\, Carl Kroening Interpretive Center\, is offering the following upcoming activities. For reservations\, call 763-763-694-7693 or visit www.threeriversparks.org. \nWinter Solstice Celebration\, Friday\, Dec. 16\, 6-8 p.m.\, rejoice the coming of longer days with celestial activities. Discover the difference between the solstice and equinox\, learn winter constellations\, hike the park\, and enjoy a fire. The cost is $5. All ages are welcome. \nSnowshoeing\, Saturdays\, Dec. 24 and 31\, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.\, get into the spirit of the season by borrowing a pair of snowshoes to explore the park. Free for all ages. \nEarly Birding\, Saturday\, Dec. 31\, 9-10:30 a.m.\, join for a morning of bird watching on snowshoes. Wear winter boots. Binoculars provided if needed. Free for all ages. \n
