Kolman & Pryor waterways and woodlands displays at Hewing Hotel
As part of its curatorial partnership with the Hewing Hotel–which has a lakes and woods aesthetic–Kolman & Pryor Gallery, in Northeast Minneapolis’ Northrup King Building, is displaying a new artist at the hotel, 300 Washington Ave. N, every month, whose work is inspired by Minnesota’s waterways and woodlands.
The current exhibit, through June 16, includes waterscape and dramatic skyscape paintings by Kat Nottingham.
Beginning June 18, the hotel will display more than 20 paintings by Mary Nagel Klein. The exhibition will run through Aug. 18, with a free, public reception, Wednesday, July 10, 6-8 pm. The catered reception will include a cash bar and an artist-led tour of the exhibit at 7 pm. The work will be available for purchase until the exhibition closes. Info: kolmanpryorgallery.com.
