DESCRIPTION:In Search of Lost Time opens Friday\, Oct. 15\, 5-8 pm at Dreamsong\, 1237 4th St. NE. The works of Leslie Barlow\, Regan Golden\, David Goldes\, Alexa Horchowski\, Nathan Hylden\, Shana Kaplow\, Jovan C. Speller and Panos Tsagaris explore how the COVID-19 pandemic has reordered our collective sense of time\, leaving us stranded in a present steeped in temporal paradox and uncertainty. “In Search of Lost Time” is born of the impulse to untangle\, comprehend\, and withstand our bewildering contemporary chronos. Order is imposed through repetition and seriality; close\, careful seeing proves an antidote to anxiety and monotony; experimentation nods to the future unknown; celestial emblems of timelessness offer solace and perspective; and kairos – critical moments of action – are brought into relief.
