DESCRIPTION:Holy Cross Catholic Church\, 1621 University Ave. NE\, will present a series of virtual organ recitals for the season of Advent. Programs will be broadcast at 5:30 pm on Sundays\, Dec. 6\, 13\, and 20\, at ourholycross.org/musical-offerings-and-concerts. \nChristopher Ganza will open the series on Dec. 6. Samuel Backman will continue the series on Dec. 13 with a program with music of Vierne\, Jongen\, Cabanilles\, Mendelssohn\, and Elgar. And on Dec. 20\, Jacob Benda will conclude by performing the music of Paulus\, Mader\, Bach\, Bednall\, and Franck. \nPrograms are free to the public\, but donations are encouraged.
