SUMMARY:Gardening Matters seed and plant events
DESCRIPTION:Gardening Matters\, an independent organization dedicated to community gardeners\, is having seed distribution events\, Saturday\, April 9\, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.\, at Northeast United Methodist Church\, 2510 Cleveland St. NE\, and Saturday\, April 16\, 10 a.m.-noon\, at Redeemer Center for Life\, 1800 Glenwood Ave. N. Members from any neighborhood in Minneapolis/St. Paul may join and pick up their seeds at distribution events. There will be plant distribution events throughout the city Saturday\, May 14\, with times and locations to be determined.\nGardener memberships are based on the level of involvement a gardener wants in the gardening community. In addition to receiving seeds and plants\, members are invited to neighborhood “gardening socials” to meet each other and talk gardens. Membership fees can be met in a variety of ways\, making the program accessible to all income levels.
