DESCRIPTION:Head to Logan Park\, 690 13th Ave. NE\, or Audubon Park\, 1320 29th Ave NE\, on Saturday\, May 3\, for a Garden Tool Swap. Logan Park’s tool swap will run\, 9 am-noon; Audubon’s will be held 11 am-2 pm\, in conjunction with its Spring Festival. Usable items for swapping include garden and yard tools (shovels\, trowels\, rakes\, pitchforks\, hoses\, etc.); pots and planters (wood\, terracotta\, decorative plastic)\, free of any soil or dirt; potting soil/mix (unused\, bagged); gardening and plant books; garden art and décor; bird houses and feeders. Make sure items are clean. All items are intended to be given and taken freely. Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling will take any unclaimed items to community gardens or distribute them through local exchange groups after the event is over. \n
