DESCRIPTION:A quarter of people older than 65 fall each year. Part of the reason is their home. Senior Community Services’ HOME Program is offering free Home Health and Safety Assessments to help reduce fall risks and allow seniors to remain independent in their own homes for longer. At the end of the assessment\, participants will receive a report detailing practical steps to take to reduce fall risks and make their home safer. Handypersons are available to work with participants to make any desired repairs and safety improvements.
