DESCRIPTION:Fairest Follies is an original one-act comedy written and directed by local Catholic playwright J.J.P. Niemann of St. Clement Cathloic Church. This farce reworks Shakespearean devices to tell the story of the Princess Brook\, a frustrated artist and the last heir to the kingdom of Bacchalia\, whose domineering aunt is utterly determined to restore the royal house by marrying her off to a suitable nobleman–no matter who he is. Fairest Follies is wholly original and is making its world premiere at St. Clement Catholic Church\, 901 24th Ave NE\, as part of Holy Cross’s continuing mission to promote the Catholic arts. Performances Oct. 2\, 3 & 4 at 7 pm and Sunday\, Oct. 5 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults; $6 for kids 12 & under. This is a family friendly production.\n\n
