DESCRIPTION:Compassionate Ocean Dharma Center\, 652 17th Ave. NE\, will have the following upcoming events. For more information or to register\, visit www.OceanDharma.org\, call 612-781-7640 or email admin@OceanDharma.org. \nTotal Dynamic Living: One-Day Retreat\, Saturday\, May 14\, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.\, open to current participants in the Total Dynamic Living – Introduction to Mindfulness courses and graduates. People not enrolled in a current course should call the Center in advance to reserve a space. \nWeekend Sesshin\, Friday\, May 20\, at 7 p.m.\, through\, Sunday\, May 22\, at noon. Sesshin is an extended period of settled Zen practice. The event will include sitting and walking meditation\, yoga practice\, body scan\, and a Dharma talk. Register at least one week in advance. \nFor a Future to Be Possible: Engaging with Climate Change\, Friday\, May 27\, 7-9 p.m.\, with an optional vegetarian potluck at 6 p.m. Registration is required. \nOngoing activities\, which are open to everyone\, include Meditation and Dharma Talk\, Fridays\, 9:30-11 a.m.\, and Sundays\, 9-11:15 a.m.; Open Meditation\, Wednesdays\, at 7 a.m.; and Orientation to Zen Meditation\, Sundays\, at 8:15 a.m. \n
