DESCRIPTION:HeightsNEXT will host its Annual Spooktacular Jack O’Lantern Walk at Kordiak Park\, 1845 49th Ave. NE\, on Friday\, Oct. 17\, 4:30-8 pm. Dress up or come as you are. Free s’mores and hot apple cider. Selfie stations. Food trucks for purchase. To donate pumpkins in advance\, drop off on Oct. 16\, 8 am-8 pm at 4711 Chatham Rd NE\, Columbia Heights. You can also bring pumpkins to public carving events at Ramsdell Park\, 4956 Johnson St. NE\, on Wednesday\, Oct. 15\, 5-8 pm or Thursday\, Oct.16\, 6-8 pm. After the event\, you can choose to take your pumpkin home as a keepsake or donate it and leave it at the park and volunteers will make sure it is composted.  \n
