Have an appetite for writing recipes\, cookbooks\, and food editorials? Learn the craft behind all things recipe writing and food content\, from arancini to zucchini and everything in between. Explore concepting\, recipe formatting\, editorial\, tips\, blurbs and sidebars. Combine your two great loves – food and writing – into new opportunities creating food content. \nWinter Eco Printing with the Textile Center: Saturday\, April 11\, 2-4 pm. Combine seasonal botanicals and steam to create beautiful eco-printed fabrics. Learn to prepare your fabric for dye\, select botanicals with high natural dye content\, and create a variety of effects using plants from Textile Center’s dye garden. Funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Registration required; registration opens 4 weeks in advance. \nGarden Seed and Information Swap: Thursday\, March 19 and Wednesday\, April 15\, 5-7 pm. Bring your vegetable\, herb or flower seeds that you have left over from the last few years and swap or gift it to a community member. Bring your questions about gardening\, too. \nDancing with Hands\, Body\, and Mind: Thursday\, April 16\, 11 am-12 pm. In this workshop\, designed for older adults\, Ranee Ramaswamy\, uses poetry as a prompt to engage participants in learning Bharatanatyam hand gestures.
