SUMMARY:Columbia Height Schools Early Childhood Screening
DESCRIPTION:Columbia Heights Public Schools will have free early childhood screenings to promote positive health and development outcomes and kindergarten readiness\, Thursday\, May 9\, 2-7 pm\, and Friday\, May 10\, 9 am-3 pm. \nScreenings include a developmental screening to review speech\, motor and cognitive skills; height\, weight\, vision\, and hearing checks; a summary interview to review the screening process and social and emotional skills; and time to discuss concerns. \nScreenings last approximately 60 minutes and are required by MN State Statute 121A.17 for entrance into Minnesota public schools or within 30 days of kindergarten enrollment.
