DESCRIPTION:French-Swiss artists Saype will create a biodegradable artwork on the lawn of Boom Island Park\, 724 Sibley St. NE\, June 1-6. Painted directly onto grass\, the giant fresco will depict intertwined hands\, the defining symbol of Beyond Walls and its message of human connection. The art has been presented in Paris\, Rio de Janiero and Cairo\, and other places around the world. It will be unveiled Saturday\, June 6\, and is expected to last three weeks to three months\, depending on the weather. \n
