DESCRIPTION:Stop by Beltrami Park any time between 9:30 and noon on Saturday\, April 24 to pick up a cleaning supply kit\, then hit the neighborhood. The goal of Earth Day Cleanup is to provide a volunteer experience and environmental education to Minneapolis residents and park users. This annual event involves cleaning Minneapolis parks\, neighborhoods\, watersheds and water bodies. Since the first Earth Day cleanup\, more than 140\,000 lbs. of garbage have been removed from Minneapolis parks. \n
