SUMMARY:Art to Change the World at Solar Arts
DESCRIPTION:\nThe 100 x 3 Holiday Show features 100 works for under $100\, with 100% going to the Artist. It’s at the Solar Arts Building\, 2nd Floor\, 711 15th Ave. NE\, Minneapolis on First Thursday\, December 2\, 5-9 pm and again during Light up the Night: Friday\, Dec. 10\,  5-10 pm (follow the searchlights) and Saturday Dec. 11\, 12-7 pm. Shop open studios and galleries with live jazz by Midnight Sun + Ngange & the Masses Sunday\, Dec. 12\, 12-4 pm. Art activities for kids will be available. \n\n\nSeven Art to Change the World artists will be exhibiting artwork for sale in the Fox Den Gallery on the 2nd floor of the Solar Arts Building. Each artist will display one larger showstopper piece of social practice art on their own chosen theme. Artists include Nina Robinson\, Barbara Bridges\, Debra Ripp\, Layl McDill\, Aristoteles Carbajal\, Natalie McGuire\, Susan Gainen. The variety of mediums include paintings\, sculptures\, mixed media\, photography and fiber art. This sale is a great chance to find unique handmade gifts with meaning.
