DESCRIPTION:The Minneapolis Art Lending Library (MALL) will host its summer lending hours Friday\, July 29\, 5-8 p.m.\, at the American Craft Council\, 1224 Marshall St. NE\, #200. Patrons can choose from MALL’s collection of more than 90 original artworks and will have the opportunity to interact with an installation by summer artist fellow Carolina Borja. “Better a bird in the hand than two in the bush\,” is a Mexican papier mache piñata installation that incorporates sound and audience participation. The MALL is a nonprofit dedicated to providing exposure for artists and building support for the arts. The fall lending event is scheduled for Oct. 21.
