DESCRIPTION:Learn about artists whose work draws attention to environmental issues such as healthy water and soil\, at a PechaKucha Sunday\, April 7\, 6-8 pm. Art Force will host the free\, open-to-public event at 1400 Van Buren St. NE. In this fast-paced format\, career artists show and explain work with 20 slides in 20 seconds each. \nPresenters: Kristen Arden\, Kat Corrigan\, Deborah Foutch\, Tom Stewart\, Howard Christopherson\, Ingrid Restemeyer\, and Nicky Torkzadeh. Audience discussion and questions will follow.Donations accepted to help the international PechaKucha tradition and benefit the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. \nNE PechaKucha Nights are a signature event of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District’s HATCH committee\, which is dedicated to assessing and filling the need for an arts center\, whether in a physical space or online.
