DESCRIPTION:The University of Minnesota (UMN) Extension Master Gardener Program in Anoka County (ACMG) is accepting applications for the 2019 Master Gardener program and is offering a free informational event\, Thursday\, Sept. 27\, 6:30-9 pm\, at Bunker Hills Activities Center\, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd. NW\, in Andover. \nAttending the sessions does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Applicants need to complete an application by Oct. 1\, be selected for an interview\, and submit and pass a background screening. Upon completion\, registration will open for the Master Gardener Core Course. There is no charge for the informational event but pre-registration is required: anokamastergardeners.org/ or 763-324- 3495. A light supper will be provided. \n
