McGee is founder of the internationally recognized nonprofit Sweet Potato Comfort Pie®. Locally and nationally\, Rose McGee is a well-known speaker\, storyteller\, and activist who is recognized as one of Minnesota’s 50 Over 50\, a member of Women Who Really Cook\, the Golden Valley and Minnesota League of Women Voters and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
