SUMMARY:13th Minnesota Cuban Film Festival
DESCRIPTION:This year’s festival will take place at MSP Film at the Main Theatre\, 15  Main St SE\, on six consecutive Thursdays\, May 26-June 30\, 7 pm. The MCFF features films that address the achievements and challenges of the Cuban people through the eyes of its filmmakers. The festival highlights diverse and challenging films of social change\, human struggle and the boldness of the human spirit. Dates and films: May 26: El Mayor (The Major); June 2: Volveran los Abrazos (I’ll hug you again); June 9: La Emboscada (The Ambush); June 16: Canción de barrio (Song of the Neighborhood); June 23: El Ultimo Balsero (The Last Rafter); June 30: Los Hermanos (The Brothers).
